Robert Sarkisian has been a broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Island Properties Nantucket since 2004 and has lived on Nantucket year-round for more than three decades. Known for his deep market knowledge, steady guidance, and exceptional client service, Robert has built a loyal base of repeat clients and has been recognized as a top performer within the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network for the past ten years. In 2018, he became a Principal Broker.
Robert has earned the prestigious Chairman's Circle Diamond Award, placing him in the top one-half of one percent of the entire Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices global network.
Deeply committed to the Nantucket community, Robert serves as Moderator of the First Congregational Church of Nantucket and sits on the Nantucket Lighthouse School Board of Advisors. He is the founder and co-chair of the Nantucket License Plate program, a Lighthouse School initiative that has raised more than $1.275 million for island nonprofits supporting children. He has also served on the boards of the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce and the Nantucket Music Center. In recognition of his service to the business community, Robert received the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year Award in 2014, and in 2015 he was honored with the Chamber's highest distinction, the Achievement of Merit Award.
Robert is Secretary and Past Worshipful Master of Union Lodge, F.&A.M., where he was named Brother of the Year in 2015 and received the Joseph Warren Distinguished Service Medal from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts in 2019. That same spirit of service has been recognized across the island - he was named one of "Nantucket's Brightest Stars" by the Inquirer and Mirror in 2015 and one of "Ten Who Make a Difference" by Nantucket Today in 2016.
Originally from Natick, Massachusetts, Robert is a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
